>>77904766>>77904809I am, but
- It's meaningless, there is no sane reason to do something like that.
- I'm not stupid enough to do it
- I have a lot of other far more interesting projects
- I couldn't care less about XP autism other than a bit of nostaliga here and there
- I have actual stuff to do which earns me the sweet shekels
- I don't want to associate too much with the people on /g/ instead of actual competent people
- I don't have at least 20 other people in my team which would be the bare minimum for this to be reasonbly feasible
- This wouldn't get us anywhere
It's still cool enough to take a look at it and see how some things were done, plus maybe it could mean a few new dlls for those retrofags, but that's all.
Also, WinXP is horribly shit compared to W10 regarding the level of available APIs and technologies. Backporting anything would mean you would just reimplement W10 for no reason. Maybe "forwardport" the explorer.exe to W10 if you want something sane.
So no, you will never find a fag who has enough knowledge to see what a project like this entails to do anything with this pile of shit. Especially that reports say it's SP1, not even SP3.
